Beyond Oswin Mill, the line of the canal is on an embankment overgrown with trees.
At the end of the embankment is Stanley Road bridge.
South of Stanley Road, the canal route is obscured by industrial premises.
500 metres south of Stanley Road, the canal climbed again by means of the two-rise Oliver Locks. The canal ran on the left, behind this retaining wall, a short way south of the locks.
Looking north from Queens Road overpass. Canal Road (A6037) is on the left. The canal ran parallel to Canal Road and its line can be seen by a strip of rough grass to the right of the terraced houses. The site of Oliver Locks is approximately where the tall tree is seen. The canal line runs behind the orange building and through the lilac building.
Looking south from Queens Road, along the line of the canal.
300 metres to the south, Kings Road bridge can still be seen.
Looking north from Kings Road.
