The Bradford canal ran for 3 miles southwards from the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Shipley to the centre of Bradford.
The canal has been closed since 1922. The route has been infilled and in some places built over.
This "virtual journey" helps to to see the original route of the canal, as it is today.
It is possible to walk along about half of the canal's route. Other parts can be seen from road crossings.
This "virtual journey" runs from north to south, but includes views of the canal route looking in either direction.
The quality of each image has been kept moderately low to enable the pages to load reasonably quickly, although it may take up to 30 seconds for all the pictures on a page to load.
