The Aire and Calder Navigation runs for about 33 miles between Goole and Leeds, in Yorkshire, with a branch of 7.5 miles from Castleford to Wakefield.
It is open for navigation throughout its length. The sections between Leeds and Castleford and between Castleford and Wakefield forms part of the North Pennine Ring, linking the Leeds and Liverpool Canal with the Rochdale Canal.
The "cruise" runs from east to west, but includes views of the canal looking in either direction.
The quality of each image has been kept moderately low to enable the pages to load reasonably quickly, although it may take up to 30 seconds for all the pictures on a page to load.
You can choose to follow the navigation to Leeds and continue along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, or follow the arm from Castlefield to Wakefield and continue along the Calder and Hebble Navigation.
