Looking west from the site of Old Moor Bridge. The canal curved around to the left, towards the site of Lock 7.
Curiously, a few yards to the right of the previous photo, but on the other side of the Knoll Beck, is a new housing development which, at the time of construction, included a "basin" and a water channel running parallel to the old canal route.
Looking back from near the site of Knoll Beck Bridge, the canal ran along the left side of this field towards Old Moor Bridge. Lock 7, Well Spring Lock, was located left of centre.
The site of Knoll Beck Bridge, which carried Wath Road over the canal. The car is on the old road, running past the Junction Inn, which took its name from the canal junction that lay just beyond.. The location of the bridge is to the left of the car, where the road from the housing development emerges.
