Common Bridge, Wath. The bridge has been infilled but the western parapet is still in place. The old Doncaster Road originally went over the bridge, but has been diverted to a junction with the new road.

The canal itself is infilled along this section. Trees and bushes grow but it is not built on.

A little further ahead, the gardens of a new housing development encroach onto the canal route. The towpath remains clear as a footpath.

Looking back from near Station Road, the line of the towpath to the left is a footpath. The path of the canal itself has been surfaced for use as a yard.
