The course of the canal continues towards Worsborough with many trees growing in the bed. When it leaves the woods, the line of the canal disappears as it passes Lower Lewden , then re-appears in a very overgrown section before Edmunds Road.
Looking west from the site of Goose Hulls Bridge, where Edmunds Road crossed. A rough car park has been created on the line of the canal. A pub next to the canal here is called The Boatman's Rest.
Looking back towards Edmunds Road.Continuing towards Worsborough, the canal was then crossed by a railway at a very acute angle. The line of the canal can just be made out as an embankment in the dense undergrowth.
Suddenly the canal appears again and is in water as it approaches Worsborough Basin.
