A quarter of a mile west of Dicken Green Bridge, a new bridge has been built here where Hartley Lane crosses.

January 7th 2002: Part of the embankment at Hartley Lane has been removed, revealing the concrete covering of the culvert pipes.

September 5th 2002: The culvert pipes and concrete covering have been removed and a new wooden footbridge has been constructed.

September 5th 2002: Looking east: part of the stonework from the original bridge on this site was uncovered and has been incorporated into the stonework of the new bridge.
