October 3rd 2001: Looking north across the central section. Girders support the steel piling each side of the working. Steel reinforcements protrude from the side wall of the bridge ready to be attached to the roof structure.
January 7th 2002: Looking north, with the railway level crossing beyond. The roadway is now open. Service pipes and cables run through conduits below the viewing platforms on each side, allowing the road alignment across the bridge to be lower.
October 3rd 2001: Looking west across the central section under construction. The towpath will be on the right.
January 7th 2002: Looking west through the completed bridge tunnel.
June 8th 2001: Looking south on the east side of the bridge. The culvert can be seen. Sheet piles on the right hold back the in-filled section of the former bridge.
December 3rd 2001: View in the same direction showing the eastern portal of the completed bridge.
