A few weeks later, the concrete slabs have been laid across the tunnel to form the roof. A roadway and car park are being laid above the tunnel.

Looking west. The roof of the tunnel can be clearly seen before being covered with hardcore and tarmac.

Work has been completed and the site landscaped. The canal is open and a boat heads into the tunnel.
